Leighton Twp. Fire Hall open house will be Sept. 18

The Leighton Township Fire Department is inviting everyone to an open house at Station No. 2 on Kalamazoo Avenue.

The Wayland Fire Dept. “Scotty House” will be on hand for kids to go through. This is a mobile mini house where a smoke emergency is simulated with a fog machine for the kids to practice escaping to kick off fire safety month.

Also included will be ambulances, a bounce house, “Sparky,” SWAT team, hot dogs, and of course, fire trucks.
