A pancake breakfast will be held from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, at the Leighton Township (Green Lake) Fire Department building, 4475 Kalamazoo Ave.

Cost is $3 for adults and $1 for children ages 12 and under,. Additional donations are encouraged. Proceeds will help cover the cost of the annual Green Lake fireworks display.

Guests also are asked to bring canned good items foro Project Hope for the emergency food pantry.

The new fire truck recently purchased by the township also will be on display.

    There’s conflicting information shown regarding the location of this event. The 4475 Kalamazoo Ave. address is correct. 4475 East D Avenue in Kalamazoo is clearly in error.
