Moline Mill Co-op to have Kids’ Day Saturday

The Moline Mill Co-op will be host for a special “Kids’ Day” celebration from 10 a,m. to noon Saturday, April 15.

The mill is located at 1231 Peony Ave., west of Division to Chappell Street then north two blocks.

Included in the day’s activities will be a seed planting station with garden seeds and a tray for kids to take home, baby calves from the Hendriksma Farm, baby pigs from the Modreske hog farm, a “Dixie Chick” from Bridlecreek Farm, a new corn sandbox, a matching game with farm animals, a tour of field application equipment and grain storage bin, Moline Co-op clothing items, and free ice cream.

The event is free of admission.
