The annual Pine Street Elementary Veterans Day observance will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 11, at the Pearl Street gym.
The public and local veterans are invited to attend the ceremony.
During the ceremony, students are selected to help escort the colors in the Grand Entrance of Armed Forces and greet guests. One fifth-grader will be chosen to recite the poem “In Flanders Field” and students will present their thoughts on what a veteran means to them.
