Relay for Life celebration to return to WHS football field July 30

Relay For Life of Wayland Area will have its annual celebration from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, July 30, at the
Wayland High School football field.
The event is open and free to the public.  Cancer survivor registration will begin at 10 a.m .followed by the opening ceremony and a a free survivor luncheon, T-shirt and goodie bag. A day of music, games and fun for the family is scheduled.
Relay for Life will have a ’50s Car Hop from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, at Dairy Ranch in Dorr. There will be a
1950s themed drive-in car hop night. Open to the public and show cars welcome. Free music, games, prizes and fun.  Proceeds to benefit the Relay For Life of Wayland Area
The American Cancer Society/Bark for Life fund-raiser will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at Bysterveld Park  4171 14th St.,  Dorr. It’s a canine event to fight cancer with our four-legged loved ones. Registration begins at 9 a.m., $10 registration fee includes walk, bandanna and goodie bag.
