Ribbon cutting for new middle school wing is Aug. 19

A ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the new wing at Wayland Union Middle School will take place at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19.

The school now will house grades 6-8, beginning in the 2019-2020 academic year.

The public is invited to attend. Tours will immediately follow the short ceremony.
