Wayland Union High School students will be recognized for their academic achievement at the annual Scholastic Honors Night/Alumni Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 16 at the Wayland Union Fine Arts Center.
Wayland High School students in grades 9-12 who have earned a grade point average of 3.5 or higher will be recognized for their achievement.
The featured guest speaker is Jordan Velie, Class of 2005, who has had a distinguished career in the military as on officer.
Wayland will also induct three new members into the Wayland Union Schools Alumni Hall of Fame – Jackie Straub (posthumous) and Frank and Marilyn Bastian. The Alumni Hall of Fame award began in 2001 and receives nominations from the public.
