Sheriff’s Dept. to teach free boat safety class June 2

A free boating safety class will be taught by the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 2, in the Green Lake Calvary Church gym, 608 145th (Kalamazoo) Ave., Caledonia.

There is no cost to attend, and reservations are not necessary. Those attending should bring a No. 2 pencil and a sack lunch. A morning snack will be provided by the the event’s sponsor, the a-Round Green Lake Association.

The association is encouraging boys and girls over the age of 12, or turning 12 this summer, to attend.
