The informational coffee series with Wayland Union Schools Superintendent Dr. Christina Hinds will change starting early next month.

A new new evening series, “Soup with the Sup,” will begin at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday evening, Jan. 11, at Bell’s Colonial Kitchen on 142nd Avenue just west of the main intersection of downtown Dorr.

School officials have noted the half of the coffee program, one a month Friday mornings at Simply Celia’s on South Main Street in Wayland, has been put on hold because of Covid-related difficulties. The other half of the program was morning coffees at Bell’s in Dorr.

School officials now are seeking to attract more local citizens by meeting in the evening when more might be available.

The superintendent plans to be available to chat and answer questions during the sessions.
