The annual summer Friday night Kyle Pitcher and bassconcert series at the City Park in Wayland is set for its 2015 season.

The concerts all will start at 7 p.m. on consecutive Fridays this month, including Aug. 7, 14, 21 and 28.

The musical entertainment will be provided (in order) by the Adams Family, Wild Kyle, which is led by Wayland High School graduate and Western Michigan University music student bassist Kyle Pitcher, the Williams Family, and the Ramblers.

Mayor Tim Bala reported he already has received commitments from United Bank and General RV for sponsorship.

    I really enjoyed the concert of 8/11! My husband recently retired from the Army and we moved here from Fort Hood, TX – so it was very nice to hear the sounds of ‘home’!! Well done, band!
