The Sweet Grass Moon Pow Wow is a celebration of Pottawatomi culture, dance and songs. The sprawling cultural Jijak center features a beautiful pow wow arena, cabins, lakes, a community center, cultural workshops and more.
Pow wow events will include cultural ceremonies; sobriety walks; grand entries; honoring veterans, elders and youth; drum and dance contests; canoe and horseshoe competitions; and a golf shot competition. Native American vendors from across the Great Lakes region will offer native foods, arts, and jewelry.  There will be more than 40 vendors selling authentic native arts and crafts and multiple food booths selling native foods.
