The St Martha Conference of Wayland will sponsor a Walk for the Poor at Yankee Springs State Park, beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 2. Participants will walk through Yankee Springs State Park or are invited to sponsor a walker to raise money to help the needy in the community.
