The Wayland Area Democrats (Waydems) invite the community to enjoy complimentary ice cream at Wayland City Park, Maple Street Shelter, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8.
There will be an opportunity to meet candidates running for Michigan Senate and House and Allegan County Commission seats. All are welcome.
The candidates who will be present include the following:
• Ron Draayer – Michigan House, District 72
• Garnet Lewis – Michigan State Senate, District 26.
• County Commissioner candidates Michael Salisbury from Wayland, and Rachel Collingsworth from Plainwell.
