Wayland Community Expo planned for Saturday, Oct. 1

The 12th annual Community Expo will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at Wayland Union Middle School, 701 Wildcat Drive.

The event, intended to promote area businesses, products and services in Wayland and immediate surrounding area, offes entertainment and educational opportunities for visitors. More than 80 vendors from local businesses, organizations and non-profits are expected to be on hand. Featured will be a “Taste of Wayland Area” with samples from local food establishments; educational presentations by Critchlow Reptile Sanctuary; free reusable canvas bags for the first 500 adults in attendance; live music in the Taste of Wayland Food Court, and prize drawings.

Admission and parking are free for guests.
