Weather moves up Wildcat boys’ basketball game times

The Wayland High School boys’ basketball games at home Thursday have been moved from late afternoon and evening to afternoon because of the approaching inclement weather. The freshman team will play at noon, junior varsity at 1:30 p.m. and the varsity at 3 p.m.

The opponent will be Tri-County, which will have to take the trip north of Grand Rapids after the games.

An athletic department spokesperson said, “Our goal is to play theses games. That is why we made the change, with the weather that is expected, we most likely would have had to cancel the games if we kept them at the original game times.”
