Weather spotter training seminar is Saturday

There will be a weather spotting training session from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Luella Collins Community Center, 419 126th Ave. in Shelbyville.

Weather spotters will be taught how to identify and report significant events that have the potential to impact the safety of their communities.

The presentation is being handled and sponsored by the Nation Weather Service 9in Gramd Rapids and the Allegan and Barry County Emergency Management groups.
