WHS graduate to play in last college football game Dec. 24

Those who want to see Wayland High School graduate Andrew Haldeman kick field goals and extra points one last time in college can watch ESPN-TV at noon Thursday, Dec. 24, for the Popeye’s Bahama Bowl.

Haldeman, WMU’s placekicker for the last four years and a 2010 graduate of Wayland High School, will be kicking for the 7-5 Western Michigan Broncos, who are taking on the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders in the Christmas Eve bowl game.
