Wayland High School Theater students will present the play Excalibur: The Story of Young King Arthur Friday, Saturday and Sunday,March 1-3, at the Wayland Union Fine Arts Center.
Excalibur! The grandeur of ancient British and Welsh legend and lore is brought to life through the eyes of the fabled master of Wizardry and Wit, the Magical and Mysterious Merlin the Enchanter, who re-creates the exciting and dramatic story of how young Arthur came to be one of the most celebrated Kings in history.
The play is directed by Rebecca Black with technical direction by Chris Teller. The play is written by Michele L. Vacca and produced by Special Arrangement with CLASSICS ON STAGE! of Chicago.
Tickets are $5 for adults, students and senior citizens are free.  Performances will be held at 7 p,m. Friday and Saturday with a 3 p.m. matinee on Sunday.
