Allison Getty, a 2013 graduate of Wayland High School, is leading Northwood University’s volleyball team in kills and total points this season.

Getty, who was a Division 2 all-state selection for a team that went all the way to the state semifinals, has recorded 294 kills and 323 total points for the Timberwolves, who are now 13-10 for the season overall.

Getty, a junior majoring in management, was second on the team in kills (268) and points (305.5) in 2015. She earned honorable mention All-GLIAC honors in 2014 and 2015 and led the team in kills, attempts, digs and points as a freshman in 2014. She also claimed Academic All-GLIAC Excellence honors in 2015.

She is the daughter of Michael and Kim Getty of Wayland.
