A huge house fire Thursday night at 144th Avenue and 5th Street brought down a large colonial-style structure.
The Leighton Township Fire Department spent a great deal of time battling the blaze, but it was reported the house collapsed in less than 45 minutes.
The house was said to be home for two adults, three teen-age children and pets.
