Judy VanderMeer, former licensed practical nurse at Pennock Hospital and a 1972 graduate of Wayland High School, lost her battle with cancer Tuesday, June 13.  

In a statement on Facebook, family members posted, “The family would like to say thank you for all of your prayers, thoughts, concerns, and help over the last several months.  We know she was truly loved by so many people. Special thanks to Nancy Hammond, LuAnn Selzer & Mike Selzer, Rick French, Spectrum Hospice, and loving neighbors.”

Family listed in the posting included Ken VanderMeer, Michelle Selzer & Andrew Bulos, Mike Selzer & Shelly Selzer, Chris VanderMeer & Crystal Bond, Brian Vander Meer, & John John.

Per Judy’s request, there will be no service.
