Word has been received of the death of Paul Gambee, formerly of Wayland, most recently of South Lyon.
A veteran of the Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict, he died of cancer June 10 at the Veterans’ Hospital in Ann Arbor.
The son of Mr. and Mrs. John O. Gambee, he is survived by his son, Paul Jr. (Robert), brother Jon Gambee of Hastings, sister Lynn Wallace McLocklin of Tennessee, and half brothers Irvin of Caledonia and Nathan of Wayland Township.
He was predeceased by his parents, stepmother Helen Gambee and brother David.
He was cremated. A memorial service may be in the works at a later date.
