William “Bill” Mohr, age 62, died Thursday, Jan. 13.
Bill and second wife Cheryl were members of New Life Baptist Fellowship for many years and after moving to Martin began to attend At the Master’s Feet Ministry Center in Otsego. Bill was a self-employed contractor in which he could spend time renovating homes with his sons.
He was involved with the US Taxpayer’s Party as state chairman, the Constitution Party as the 2020 U.S. vice presidential candidate, and served on the executive committee of the Constitutional Party.
He is survived by wife Cheryl Mohr; children Angela Drennen, Mindy (Tim) Bishop, Miranda (John) Proctor, William ll (Megan) Mohr, Annie (Chad) Young, Robert (Shanna) Mosey, Joshua (DeAnne) Mosey, Lorelei (Aaron) White, Elissa Mohr; many grandchildren; siblings Linda Moorman, Larry (Gerry) Mohr, Carol (Dan) Lambeck, Marcia (Dan) Balfoort, Don (Diane) Mohr; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his previous wife, Denise Mohr, and parents Sox and Birdie Mohr.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, at New Life Baptist Fellowship, 6252 Burlingame Ave. SW, Byron Center. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 19, at New Life Baptist Fellowship, with visitation from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
