Funeral mass at St. Therese slated for Monica Langley

Monica Langley, a lifelong Wayland area resident, died Friday, Aug. 11, at the age of 65.

Monica graduated from Wayland High School in 1975. Her husband, Jerry Langley, was a 1973 WHS graduate.

She was a devoted mother and a beloved grandmother, sister, and friend. She was well-loved by many and will be missed greatly. Above all, she adored her grandchildren and cherished her time spent with them.

She is survived by her four children Derek (Shanna) Langley, Rachel (Trent) Langley, Alicia (David) Buckley, Janel (Aaron) Barber; grandchildren Vincent, Beatrice, Cohen, Ashton, Brooks, Rosaline, Tate; sister, Marcia (Lonnie); and brother, Mike (Holly).

Monica was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Langley; mother, Jacqueline Trubiroha; father, Frank Trubiroha; and brothers, Marty and Mark.

Per her wishes, a private funeral mass will be held at St. Therese Catholic Church. Monica will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery in Wayland, next to the love of her life, Jerry.
