Josephine “Aunt Jo” Chrusciel (Marklevitz), age 91,died Monday, July 16. She is survived by her brother, Roman (Colleen) Marklevitz; special caregivers, niece Darlene and Vic Lohroff, niece, Roni Hohnke, niece Mary Taylor, Sandy Velicky and Dar Lohroff; special neighbors Don and Paulette Gray and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Rose Marklevitz; husband, Walter Chrusciel; brothers, Ed Marklevitz, Gene Andrysiak; sisters, Irene Rewa, Clara Snyder, Dorothy Krulac, and Florence Marklevitz.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, July 20, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home in Wayland, 312 N. Main St., with a Rosary beginning at 4 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 21, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church with Fr. Stephen Rodrigo and Deacon Russ Pogodzinksi presiding. Interment will be at St. Stanislaus Catholic Cemetery.
In honor of Aunt Jo, contributions may be made to Spectrum Health Hospice and the St. Stanislaus Catholic School.
