Tressa K, DeMann of Martin died Monday, June 3, at Borgess Medical Center. She was 83.
She was born May 8, 1936, in Byron Center the daughter of Joseph and Reka (Kuiphof) Morren. Tressa spent many years working on the family farm and raising her family. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, embroidery, crocheting, doing puzzles, flower gardening and canning the many vegetables she grew in her garden.
On August 29, 1957, in Byron Center she married LaVern DeMann, who survives.
Also surviving are her children, Ken (Michelle) DeMann of Shelbyville, Doug (Jeanne) DeMann of Martin and Pat (Keith) Kuyper of Dorr; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Bea Klunder along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Jim DeMann.
Friends may visit with Tressa’s family from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 7, at the East Martin Christian Reformed Church where a funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 8, with Pastor Derek Norman officiating. Private family burial will take place at East Martin Cemetery.
