Stuart Alvin Isenhoff, age 83, died Wednesday, Feb. 23.

Stuart was an avid reader of the Bible and other books as well. He had a heart for missions. He was a graduate of Western Michigan University. In his spare time, Stuart loved vegetable gardening.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Carol Isenhoff; children Shane (Ruth) Isenhoff, Melanie (Greg) DeVries, Shawn (Tara) Isenhoff; son-in-law, Christopher Dentel; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; siblings Nancy Postma and Tom (Bonnie) Isenhoff; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Marsha Dentel; son, James Stuart Isenhoff; sister, Bonnie Harmsen.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, at Dorr Baptist Church, 1504 142nd Ave., with visitation from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to service.

In honor of Stuart, and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Dorr Baptist Church Roof Fund.
