Kenny R. Shue, 63, died Monday, April 26.
Kenny was a family man and the “greatest papa” to his four grandchildren. He was a huge Detroit sports fan, especially of his beloved Tigers. He was an avid fisherman and loved spending time with his boys hunting and going to the casino. After retiring, he spent many hours metal scraping, tinkering, and “junking” with a special nephew, Travey.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Shue; children Joshua (Morgan) Shue, Joseph (Brittani) Draper, Justin (Tiffanie) Draper, Chris (Miranda) Draper; grandchildren Kenny, Lenny, Colton, Maddy; siblings Tammy (Jim) Sipkema, Jo Lynn (Glenn) Woodrum, Kim Shue, Carrie (Travis) Peet, Kandi (Nathan) Jenne; many siblings and relatives from Ann’s family; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Keith and Shirley Shue; brother, Chris Shue; nephew, Ryan Sipkema.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 30, at Wayland Community Church, 502 W. Superior St. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 1, at Wayland Community Church, with visitation from 10 to 10:45 a.m., prior to the service.
