Funeral scheduled for Saturday morning for Virginia Hall, 82

Virginia L. Hall (Northrop), 82, of Shelbyville died Wednesday, April 1.

Virginia was a giving, loving and wonderful person. She loved having fun, shopping, sewing and flower gardening. Virginia was a longtime member of Yankee Springs Bible Church and a committed Christian lady.

In 1994, she graduated from Wayland Adult Education at the top of her class. She was so proud that her mother was there to watch her receive her high school diploma.

Virginia is survived by her niece, Denise Shondelmeyer; sister-in-law, Rosemary, brother-in-law, Don; and many special nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Hall and her sister, Nancy Northrop.

Funeral services, officiated by Rev. Merrit Johnson, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 4, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services in Wayland, 312 N. Main St., followed by interment at Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will begin an hour prior to the service.

In honor of Virginia, contributions may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice or Wayland Area Ambulance.
