Lila May Carr (Wilcox) of Hopkins died Monday, Jan. 17.

Lila was born on Feb. 23, 1942, in Ionia, Michigan to Homer and Hazel Wilcox (Corey). She was married to Willie Carr to which they shared many years of faithful marriage to each other.

Lila was a lifetime member of 30 plus years at Friendship Bible Church in Hopkins. She enjoyed putting puzzles together while listening to her favorite Elvis records. She would collect all kinds of memorabilia related to Elvis and Angels. She cherished her time and memories with all her grandkids and great grandkids.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Dover, Peggy Barnes and Mary White; sister Betty Morse; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Carr; parents Homer, and Hazel Wilcox (Corey); siblings Perry Wilcox, and Terry Wilcox.

There will be a private graveside service at Maplewood Cemetery Tuesday, Jan. 25. Following the graveside there will be a service at 1 p.m. Friendship Bible Church.
