Stanley Leon Laskowski, 74, of Dorr,died Wednesday, Sept. 6, at his home.
Born Jan. 1, 1949, in Grand Rapids, he was the son of the late Leo D. and Ethel Marie (Sweezy) Laskowski and was the husband of the late Theresa Irene (Keenan) Laskowski.
Stanley had been a farmer throughout his life and he worked for a time in the construction trade. He was a strong man with a heart of gold and had enjoyed many activities that brought him outdoors, including hunting and fishing.
Stanley is survived by his children, Sheri Whitehead, Mary (Tom) Woodward, Christina (Mark) Elburn, Marty French, Angela Clevenger, Micki Hewartson, Amanda Eastman, Lacey Laskowski and Soney (Heather) Walton; 28 grandchildren; and more than 13 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel, from 11 a.m. to noon Monday, Sept. 11. The service will begin at noon, officiated by Pastor Chris Cronk.
Stanley will be laid to rest at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church Cemetery beside his wife, Theresa, immediately following.
