Wayland native and Martin High School graduate Leonardo Pintarelli of Otsego died Friday, Jan. 19. He was 36.
Pintarelli was born to John and Sharon Pintarelli of Wayland in 1981 and later went to Martin High School and studied to be a registered nurse at Kalamazoo Valley Community College. He was employed by Kalamazoo regional Psychiatric Hospital and most recently by Laurels of Galesburg.
Other survivors include his wife, Rebecca, and his daughter, Kadence.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27, Northbridge Church, 8824 Douglas Ave., Kalamazoo. The family asks that those attending wear University of Michigan or Detroit Tigers apparel in honor of his love of sports.
