Robert “Bert” Donald Coppens II, age 59, of Wayland, died Thursday, Feb. 7.
Robert was gregarious and funny – always telling great stories. He honorably served his country as a proud Marine.
He is survived by his children, Rachael Coppens and Robert Coppens III; grandchildren Kyle Coppens, Kamryn Coppens and Reggie Driver; father, Robert Coppens I; siblings Candace Reed, Chris Coppens and Carrie VanZwol.
Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Katie Coppens.
The Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 11, at SS Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, Gun Lake.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Robert to the MS Foundation.
