Charles E. “Bud” Perry died Saturday, Sept. 23.
He was born Feb. 4, 1940, in Jamestown Township, the son of Charles and Ruth (Winter) Perry. Bud began his working career with his dad in the oil fields along with being a true hobby farmer and later retiring from Keeler-Brass with more than 37 years of service. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time.
Bud is survived by his children Kevin (Dawn) Perry, Diane (Jerry) Spence, Linda (Terry) Perry and David (Kristy) Perry; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; his siblings Leona Hendrick, Carl (Nancy) Perry and Ruth (Phil) Kamyszek; son-in-law Jack Henry along with several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends and his faithful companion (Precious).
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hattie, in 2012; his parents; his daughter, Carol Henry, and his sister, Norma Rich.
Bud’s family will meet with relatives and friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm Monday, Sept. 25, at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home-Dorr Chapel, 4330 18th St. Funeral services for Bud will be at 11 am Tuesday, Sept. 26, at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home Dorr Chapel, with visitation starting at 10 am at the funeral home. Interment will be in Burnips Cemetery.
