The Hopkins girls’ basketball team’s season record fell to 5-13 overall and 4-4 in the O-K Silver Conference Friday night in a 52-37 loss to Wyoming Godwin Heights.

The Vikings kept the ballgame reasonably close through most of the way, but the visiting quintet was able to pull away gradually, leading 16-11, 25-16 and 38-26 after the first three period stops.

Ellen Bregg dropped in 13 points to pace the Hopkins offensive effort. Allie DeBoer added eight points.

Keira Lipscomb led Godwin with 19 points and Tiana Kidd-Robinson had 11.
