Graveside service delayed for Floyd VanKampen, 81

Floyd Lee VanKampen, age 81, of Wayland, died at Railside Living Center Monday, Jan. 2.

Floyd enjoyed his time with friends and especially his time on his Harley.

He is survived by his daughter, Kathy (Larry) Carrier; son, Mike (Deb) VanKampen; granddaughters, Jennifer VanKampen, Kelli (Ben) Werkman, Erin Carrier (Nate Bowman), Nicole VanKampen (Tyler Pike), Allison VanKampen; grandson, Bryan (Kayla) VanKampen; brother, Gary (Kathy) VanKampen; sister, Sandy Jacobsen; and sister-in-law, Carol VanKampen.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Enno and Hermina VanKampen; son, Jeffrey VanKampen; sister and brother-in-law, Judy (Harry) Hobbs; brothers, David VanKampen, and Jerry VanKampen; and brother-in-law, Ron Jacobsen.

In accordance with Floyd’s wishes, he was cremated and there will be a graveside service at a later date.
