Gubernatorial candidates featured in ‘Women Rising Up’ event

Bill Cobbs was one of the Democratic Party gubernatorial candidates who spoke Saturday during the “Women Rising Up” event at Mahan Park on Brady Street in Allegan. Cobbs has generated a lot of interest from two Wayland citizens, Wayland High School senior Jon Seymour (right) and retired teacher Jeff Salisbury, who is serving as a Cobb campaign assistant.
