Henika District Library director earn’s master’s from Wayne State

Molly Walker, who Molly Walker2has served as director of the Henika District Library for the past five months, has completed work on her master’s degree in library and information science at Wayne State University.

Walker was hired as director at Henika while serving as intern for four months earlier this year. She succeeded Elisha Cloyd, who left to move to Kansas.

Originally from Berrien Springs and now a resident of Grand Rapids, Walker earned a bachelor of science degree in political science from Grand Valley State University.

Henika Library until 2014, had the unusual distinction of having only four library directors in the first 98 years of its existence.
