Work is progressing on South Main Street in Wayland in a project partly funded by a state grant to install a turning lane on the road from Sycamore Street south to 133rd Avenue. Though it may not look like it, the project is proceeding apace, according to Anthony Winters, proprietor of the 4 One 2 eatery, distillery and arcade next to the VFW post. The 4 One 2 has been heavily impacted by the project because the beat-up road presents a challenge to motorists who would be prospective customers. Winters has indicated those who want to dine, drink or play can use Sib Rumery Street to access the VFW next door or take 133rd Avenue to the west to get close.
