The Hopkins Area Fire Department this weekend presented Gary Kerber (shown with axe) an award for his 50th year of service for HAFD. Together with his sons (pictured) here is 120 years of service to Hopkins Area, serving also Hamilton and Caledonia. Total Kerbers serving Hopkins has actually 204 years to this date for a department at 101 years old. Meanwhile, Rick Krouse (shown above) received the Partner of the Year plaque, in recognition for the service made to the department and community.
