Hopkins band fund-raiser honors late director David Lowe

The Hopkins Schools’ band program has launched a fund-raiser honoring the memory of David Lowe, who was band director from 1982 to 2010. He died June 29, 2024. Students and staff plan to raise money to fund purchase of percussion instruments, which they plan to present to the band at its spring concert May 5. Checks can be made out in care of director Jessica Williams or on Venmo to Band Booster Treasurer Rachael Rosenberg. The campaign’s goal is $5,000.
