The Hopkins girls’ and boys’ varsity basketball teams both were defeated Tuesday evening by Middleville Thornapple Kellogg.

The Lady Vikings lost 45-39 and saw their overall season record slip to 1-3. They have lost three in a row since beating Fennville in the season opener.

The boys’ team lost 72-48 to the Trojans and now is 0-3 after losses to Wayland, Hamilton and TK.
