The Hopkins boys’ varsity baskeViking Logo2tball team lost 85-48 Tuesday night at Wyoming Tri-Unity Christian.

Tri-Unity jumped out to a 21-9 lead in the opening quarter and never looked back, improving its season record to 11-4 overall. Hopkins now is 3-14 overall for the season.

Hopkins was led by Jake Sapp with 20 points, eight rebounds and two blocked shots. Freshman Hunter Lewellyn had seven points for the Vikes.

Tri-Unity was led by Collin Rosedal with 19 points and Braydon Sharrod had 15.

The Vikings will be at home Friday against the No. 1 Class B team in the state, Wyoming Godwin Heights.
