After yielding 108 points in its first three games, the Hopkins varsity football team stepped up its defensive game Friday night in a 27-8 victory over Wyoming Godwin Heights.

The Vikings, with the triumph, moved to 3-1 overall and 2-0 against O-K Silver Conference competition.

Hopkins will have its homecoming Friday against a NorthPointe Christian squad that also is 3-1 overall and 2-0 in league play after a narrow decision over Calvin Christian.
