The first grade students at Hopkins Elementary recently created an 18-hole putt-putt course. The students worked through designing, engineering and modifying their courses, all while working together cooperatively. Each class was in charge of creating six holes as well as putters. The students used recyclables and classroom materials to complete the project. This was a STEM project that encouraged problem solving and growth mindset. (Photo supplied)
