Hopkins elementary students join Lego competition

Sycamore and Hopkins Elementary fourth- and fifth-graders participated in a Lego robotics competition Saturday at the Allegan Fieldhouse. The competition was facilitated by Allegan Area Educational Services Agency. Students participated in two different challenges where they had to program a Lego robot to perform various tasks. Teams of third- through fifth-graders from schools in Allegan county participated. Students had the opportunity to learn about and try many different technologies such as, drones, virtual reality and coding. (Photo supplied)
