Members of the Hopkins chapter of the FFA earned a slew of awards Wednesday night at the regional competition.
The following is list of award winners:
• Creed Speaking: Ivy Belden – third place, alternate to state.
• JH Speaking: Leah Jablonski – second place, advancing to state.
• GH Speaking: Ellise Wedge – second place, advancing to state.
• Prepared Public Speaking: Tally Laarman – second place, advancing to state.
• Extemporary Speaking: Chase Laarman – third place, alternate to state.
• Job Interview: Colby Tucker – fourth place.
• Demonstration Team: Allie Coffey, Emma Langlois, Kaden Petroshus – fourth place.
• JH Conduct of Meetings Team – Regional champions, advancing to state. Team members: Hope Reed, Addy Laarman, Sofia Berens, Kylynne, Merica Mia Ellis, Molly Wells and Carlton Petroshus.
