The Hopkins varsity softball team Tuesday split a doubleheader against O-K Silver Conference rival Belding.
The Lady Vikings won the first game 3-2, but lost 4-3 in the nightcap.
An interesting individual statistic from the twin bill was that freshman pitcher Jorja Wood (pictured) struck out 18 hitters on the day in the two ballgames, She hurled for seven innings in the opener and two more in the nightcap.
