Hopkins High School graduate Matt Modreske earned honorable mention accolades on the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference all-star team announced this week. Modreske, a junior at Northwood University, was selected at offensive tackle. He was a member of the Hopkins team that went undefeated during the regular season in 2012 before losing in overtime to eventual state champion Grand Rapids West Catholic.
