Hopkins High School horn quintet earns trip to state festival

Five Hopkins High School students combined efforts last week to earn a Division 1 rating at the Michigan School and and Orchestra Association’s solo and ensemble festival. Their efforts earned a trip to the state festival later in the academic year. The horn quintet includes  Hailey Burch, Becca Colby, Chad Steffes, Nolan Pickett and Laura Velderman. (Photo supplied)
